  • Call on Left in photo below: Very Early Signed Glynn Scobey Duck Call. This the earliest version of Glynn’s signature I have ever seen on his calls. P. S. Olt Duck and Goose Set in Silk Lined Metal Case. Included in this set is a wood Olt 800 Goose Call and a wood Olt DR-115 (double reed) Duck Call, as well as a folded instructional pamphlet for each call. The one for the DR-115 states it is for the “New” DR-115. I believe the wooden Olt calls began in the early 1960s. It looks like the case remained open and the side with the indentions fr the calls collected some dust over time, which I bet will clean up for you. Both calls are Mint. Price for the set is $150

Cover of the book "duck calls: an enduring american folk art" featuring images of various decorative duck calls.

Harlan, Howard and Andrews, Crew. Harlan Anderson Press. 1988, 1st edition, 324pp. Harlan, Howard and Andrews, Crew. Harlan Anderson Press. The book covers over 800 calls and 450 makers, plus the history of duck calls. Still the foundation book for any call collector’s library. Dj has several very small closed tears, repaired with tape from behind. Top of spine on dj is worn. Book is better than Fine, no dog eared pages, no markings of any kind, clean. Not easy to find one this nice. Fine in Vg+ dj. $79

Old book cover titled "duck calls and other game calls" featuring an illustration of a hunter with a shotgun and a dog walking beside him.

McGrath, Brian. Duck Calls and other Game Calls. Limited edition, #544 of 950. The first book on duck calls and the hardest to locate. This is the copy in my photo. Dj is wavy and has a tiny hole at spine edge. Dj spine worn at top and missing a small piece, but no loss of any information. The area of the dj that appears gray, rather than tan, is due to my shadow taking the photo. (Life in a wheelchair ain’t easy.)Book is clean, cover shows tiny wear at corners and spine ends. Scarce. $189
